ABOUT ARKLOW PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC
Here to Help
At Arklow physiotherapy clinic, we offer the highest standard of patient care. Tara qualified in 1997 with a BSc. in Physiotherapy from UCD and went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy in 2002. The clinic was opened in 2005 and Tara has worked hard to forge excellent communication with local Doctors and consultants in the surrounding counties. Before this Tara worked as the Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal outpatients in St. Vincent's University Hospital and learnt a lot through working with the multidisciplinary team. This approach continues in to her practice model where she helps the person not the condition.
Tara treats common conditions, back and neck pain, shoulder, hip and knee pain but also has a special interest in foot pain. Tara has great experience with post surgical patients and enjoys the rehabilitation back to normality! Tara also is experienced in other conditions including respiratory, neurological and women's health. She treats people post road traffic or work accidents and has a lot of experience in returning people to work when appropriate.Tara treats all age groups from small children to very elderly. She is always happy to chat prior to booking an appointment to ensure physiotherapy is appropriate or give advice.
